At Markel España, claims are handled by a specialised and highly experienced internal team made up of managers, handlers, adjusters and technical personnel. When advisable, we seek assistance from other entities and service providers to act on our behalf or on behalf of the policyholders in order to ensure that claims are handled and resolved as efficiently as possible.
How are claims reported?
Most of our commercial activity takes place through our distribution model, which involves professional insurance brokers. In the event of a claim, and unless your policy states otherwise, you will generally first have to contact the brokerage through which you purchased your policy.
