Markel Spain has once again performed well the annual ADECOSE Barometer survey. ADECOSE is an independent insurance broker association founded in 1977 and has more than 120 members placing premium in excess of €6bn. Its annual broker survey is designed to assess the quality and service provision for major insurance firms in Spain and is recognised as one of the markets leading independent industry evaluations.
Which areas are rated in the survey?
Insurers are rated on areas including product proposition, technology and overall customer service. Markel Spain first took part in the survey back in 2011, and since then the business has enjoyed consistently better year-on-year results.
Based in Madrid and Barcelona, our Spanish operation was placed in the top six firms for overall customer service, an improvement on last year’s result and beating established firms including Allianz. The business was rated even higher for local brand awareness, scoring in the top four firms.
